شبکه های BBC وVOA فارسی از ماهواره عربست و از فرکانس جدیدی روی ایر رفتند این شبکه ها مدتی پیش از فرکانس 11013 یروبرد2 روی ایر رفته بودند ولی به دلیل قدرت کم فرکانس در اکثر شهر های ایران قابل دریافت نبودند.
